Virtual
Support
Get expert newborn care tips, tricks, knowledge, support, and more, all from the comfort of your own home. Whether you are looking for support with a variety of feeding techniques or dilemmas, sleep routines, soothing techniques, age appropriate milestones, or adjusting to life with multiple children, or multiple more at once, my virtual support sessions offer practical tips, current science-backed information, and compassionate care- conveniently when you need it most.
Virtual Newborn Navigation Consult
Not sure how I can best support you? Do you want to chat about general newborn care, or chat about your plan(s) and expectations postpartum? Overwhelmed with options, information, or even the newest “gotta have!” products?
I would love to plan a personal session so we can thoroughly review your questions and concerns. These may include various feeding options, process and talking about your upcoming or recent birth or cesarean, provide meal planning tips, soothing, swaddling, diapering (including cloth), and bathing techniques, safe sleep habits, referrals (if local), baby wearing tips, or any other concerns you may have. If in-person newborn care is something you are considering, we could spend this time together reviewing which services you may envision benefiting from and what a schedule could look like.
Virtual Postpartum Support
Even without in person help to hold and feed your baby, fold some cute little onesies, or help with getting extra sleep, perhaps that isn’t necessarily how you best feel supported. If you have plenty of helping hands at home already, you could still find plenty of value in doula support, virtually!
Some invaluable virtual support includes:
Check in virtual visit after birth or cesarean
Provide compassionate ongoing emotional and physical support
Maintain regular supportive communication via unlimited text and calls
Additional virtual visits that can be scheduled at your convenience throughout the postpartum journey
Referrals (if local)
Soothing techniques
Swaddling techniques
Baby wearing guidance
Cloth diapering options
Provide up-to-date, evidence-based information regarding a wide variety of topics
Education on newborn development, milestones, and non-medical concerns such as reflux and colic
Feeding support (bottle, formula, breast/chest, re-lectation, SNS)
Discuss safe sleep spaces and consistent age-appropriate sleep schedules
Experience with the most recent products (baby monitors, bottles, diapers, swaddles, noise machines, sterilizers, etc.)
Enhance awareness on correct care seat installation according to the user manual, and proper utilization
Unconditional, nonjudgemental assistance alongside you during your postpartum journey.
